This is my most anticipated graphic novel for the past five years!

So I start this by disclosing that I am a huge fan of Robert Kirkman and the whole Invincible series to start with, I first read the compendium volume 1 maybe eight years ago as a gift from my brother and managed to finish it in a matter of days. I started this series late to the party and thankfully only had two years to wait for the second volume which was also incredible but unfortunately with just how many issues are packed into these compendiums I have had a five year wait for this third volume to be published and I have to say, it was worth the wait.

The story being issue to issue jumps right in from the last so I would advise either re reading the series or even just reading the last few just to kick start your memory of what has happened previously.

So years have passed from where the story had first begun and all the characters have grown and their storylines flourished into lovable and complex individuals.

This last volume explores some new concepts with new planets, new races and even time travel.

Some moments had me genuinely on the edge of my seat and I was even shocked on multiple issues, now I can’t spoil anything but all I can do is say, read this now and you will not be disappointed!

If I was to rate this it would definitely get a 10/10, I had no flaws with this, only that it ended but even that is a good thing as its nice to have a series that ended properly without just ending spontaneously.

Graphic Novel Review - Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys: The Big Lie by Anthony Del Col

Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys: The Big Lie by Anthony Del Col Buy it here Something terrible has happened in the nice town of Bayport, Frank and Joe Hardy's father has been murdered and they're suspected of the crime. Only with the help of Nancy Drew can the boys clear their names and find out who really killed their father. Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys is a great modern take on the crime solving cast with a dark noir theme throughout. I felt the darkness in the art was a great take on the story bringing the duo into their more mature lights. I had never read any of the Hardy Boy or Nancy Drew stories but have really enjoyed this and would read further if this style of writing was a route that it went down again, it is defiantly worth a read for everyone who likes a crime solving graphic novel.
